Woolworths blast

The Woolworths Cricket Blast program is designed to link into the junior cricket programme at Edinburgh which starts at U9’s or U10’s. 

Cricket Blast is about teaching kids the basics of cricket in a safe and inclusive environment.

Program cost includes choice of different Blast packs, and all other required gear (bats, soft balls, stumps etc.) is supplied by the club.

Schedule

The Cricket Blast program will start mid-October, 2024 with options on 3 different days each weekend:

  •  Fridays 4.30-6pm

  •  Saturdays 9.30-11am

  •  Sundays 9.30-11am

Safety

The program is run by a mixture of Senior players and coaches. These coaches have volunteered to coach and have undertaken, or are undertaking, the Level 1 coaching certification via Cricket Victoria or who have equivalent certification. All coaches have also attained a Working with Children Check.
