Edinburgh Cricket Club has a proud history of women’s cricket, celebrating 25 years in 2025!
First taking the park in 2000, Edinburgh womens’ side has grown strongly.
Following a historic double consisting of the North West Premiership and the T20 Premiership the women were promoted to the Cricket Victoria WCCC Shield competition.

KEY INFO
TRAINING
The Edinburgh women’s side trains at the Brunswick Street Oval nets on Tuesday and Thursday evenings throughout cricket season, October through March.
During the season training starts at 6.pm and goes until about 7pm.
Selection of teams is made after training on the Thursday before each match.
Playing
The ECC women’s side plays in the Cricket Victoria Women’s Community Cricket One Day Shield One Day and T20 competitions.
We play mainly on Sunday afternoons starting at 12pm at the Brunswick St Oval in Edinburgh Gardens.
Anyone over 12 is welcome, and the team welcomes cricketers of all abilities and interests.
